WOT 161: Tying Flies for Function and the Puget Sound with Brita Fordice

In this episode we WadeOutThere with Britt Fordice from Seaback, Washington.  Brita grew up north of Seattle fishing from the beach as a girl.  She taught herself to tie salt water flies at her families cabin on the Stillaguamish River from looking at pictures in books at only ten years old.

Today Brita guides on the Puget Sound and Hood Canal and is a fly designer and tier for Sage.

We discuss presentation and reading water on the Puget sound and how Brita approaches building functionality into her fly designs.
